They still have 13 bats, 4 male and 9 female. The bats share the big cage with White-cheeked Turacos, you may see them near the Sacred Ibis & African Spoonbill exhibit.
When I was there last, the aviaries were all still closed, roped off or just empty, I hope I can see them on my next visit! I'm so happy they kept the bats after all, same with the naked mole rats. :'3
