Budi is now 10 years old. I wanted to post this shot for 2 reasons. The first being that it looks like Budi's cheeks flanges are starting to grow in. It not overtly noticeable, but slightly evident.
Second reason for posting this shot is the green background. That's actually grass they planted in the exhibit with fresh soil. it's not much, not is it anything close to being an outdoor exhibit, but they are at least trying to make the exhibit more comfortable for the animals, which is nice to see.
The only problem I see with the grass is that the Orangs pull up the grass, give it a sniff and toss it back to the floor. So i don't know how long it'll last for.
