I attended a reception and open house that the zoo hosted tonight within the CREW (Conservation and Research of Endangered Wildlife) building for the zoo's donors, and I bought these two ornaments painted by Harapan the Sumatran rhinoceros. The event was fantastic filled with refreshments, meet and greets with CREW scientists (including Dr. Terri Roth), a tour of the CREW facilities, and, of course, a few animal ambassadors.

When I saw the title for this post i thought at first you meant ornaments made out of Sumatran rhino, either waste paper baskets or umbrella stands made from the feet. What a relief to read the whole thing.
How did they get the rhino to paint them?

Same here and I hadn't looked at who posted the photo so assumed it was one of the couple of members that are traveling in Asia at the moment. Relieved that my initial thought was wrong.
On another note, these ornaments are a nice idea.
