Sun Bear sign

as seen from the main approach path, but actually made up of lots of smaller bears (as seen in the attachments below).

There are two paths though, so it only works if you approach from the correct direction (and not if coming down from the African area)!

What animals are in this exhibit?

this is the Asian Precinct. It just houses sun bears in a disappointing enclosure, and Sumatran tigers in a pretty good enclosure. The tiger enclosure was always there, it's just had a few adjustments. The bear enclosure is the old giraffe enclosure. It's not great but it is perhaps better than their old enclosure.

That is an ingeniously designed sign. I cannot imagine how people can figure out how to make things like that work. Really nice.
