Althrough the newspaper article which was written by this picture said it was from Wassenaar it prop. isn't taken there. I had a discusion with an ex-keeper who took care for the Sunbitterns in the 1980-ties and he told me Wassenaar never bred this species !
During 1981 2 other Dutch zoos ( Artis and Avifauna ) bred the species and I guess the newspaper put the wrong zoo by this picture. I don't know however if it was Artis or Avifauna.
