This is the only inhabited indoor exhibit within the orangutan cave that seems to be the zoo's attempt at a nocturnal house. There are around two to three more exhibit there that are empty, including one that is quite large. It's shame that Ragunan didn't utilize these exhibits more.
@Rizz Carlton It's totally a shame and the carpet is ripped in countless areas. The orangutan complex at Ragunan inside the Primate Center is world-class, genuinely terrific and with loads of great viewing areas, but the whole zone could be spruced up a little to look more presentable. At least there's ongoing construction work in several areas in the Primate Center.
