Tam-ring Gibbon Reserve

Houses a pair of White-cheeked Gibbons
This small zoo has some great theming in its exhibits: a black bear exhibit where the entrance is designed to look like an actual house (complete with fridge full of bear food); Big Cat Country is set in an abandoned U.S. mine; Chinese sculptures for the Amazing Asia zone (snow leopards, Amur leopards, red pandas); Sea Lion Sound and its wharf appearance; and the Tam-Ring Gibbon Reserve is set in a ruined temple.

The zoo's history book was just published in January, 2014, and it is part of the Images of America series:

I agree. Jumped through this foto op viewing and was amazed how great almost any exhibit looks. Creative and innovative designs and attractive settings too.
