tamarin and marmoset exhibit

housing emperor tamarin, pigmy marmoset and Brazilian agouti. The blue hut on the right is the indoor quarters pictured here: http://www.zoochat.com/15/tamarin-marmoset-indoor-quarters-210687/

The outdoor section is glass-fronted (mesh higher up)and is quite nice, but has terrible reflection problems as you can see.

So a good-sized exhibit? Doesn't excuse the indoor area, though.

I like the quirky hut interior BUT it should definitely be on the visitors side instead. The animals deserve something more natural or at least functional.

Do the animals use the inside much?

it is quite a good-sized enclosure, and the outside part is good. The monkeys do use the indoors quite a bit because there are some food dishes in there so they constantly run in and out (there are also food containers in the outside part as well).

Here's a couple of photos of a pigmy marmoset inside that I took yesterday (I was trying to get the emperor tamarin perched on the moustache books but he was just too quick and the reflections defeated me!):
