Tamarin exhibits (May 23th, 2015)

For white-lipped tamarins and black tufted-ear marmosets.

Now demolished.

They look decent-why were they demolished?

Long things short, because the park was taken over by a company called Libema (also owning Beekse Bergen, Overloon and Dierenrijk) and they apparently seem to hate small animals in attractive enclosures..

Weird... Why would anyone demolish a perfectly functioning enclosure for personal bias against tamarins? Have they built something in its place?

It is not that simple...

Aquazoo Friesland belonged to a cooperation called Zodiac Zoos, which went bankrupt this year, if Libema would not have taken over and changing stuff (including demolishing this enclosure...) this whole zoo would not exist anymore....
