tarantula tank, Canterbury Museum

I took this photo in 2011 and thought I had uploaded it but it seems I had not, or I had and it got deleted. Anyway, the Canterbury Museum in Christchurch, NZ, has a permanent tarantula display. The tank can be divided into several sections. Here it looks like it was being used as one tank (I cannot remember to be honest). I do know it held a Mexican Red-kneed Tarantula (Brachypelma smithi) at that time. The museum has several tarantulas, but they are rotated on display, at other times (when not at the museum) they are housed at the Canterbury University in their spider room.
