There were northern tree shrews in this aviary complex, and I am a huge fan of them as they are endlessly entertaining. I think that many zoos would do well to create exhibits for such animals, as while they do not need a great deal of space they are arguably just as exciting as meerkats or small-clawed otters...and both of those are ubiquitous in major zoos.
