Tequila splitfin male

Aquarium, Chester, 3rd September 2017.
Zoogoneticus tequila, a member of the Goodeidae. The name splitfin refers to the male's anal fin, the front portion of which is flexible and is used to inseminate the female (like the gonopodium of the commoner aquarium livebearers). This anatomical characteristic can be clearly seen in this image.
