I seem to remember you saying that the badger(s) was impossible to find, and no wonder with such an enormous enclosure. Is that a bird-house in the nearest tree? Did you at least see a sparrow?

No, the three species that I was not able to see in this wonderful park were the beaver, the otter and the wolverine.

But yes, that is indeed a bird-house! Nice feature.

Sparrows were probably pretty common but I did not particularily look for them.

Also, I did not see the free ranging wild boar piglets... You noticed that sign?

Neither did I. That is why I am going to find out if the park has any special late-night openening events so I can get to see these nocturnal creatures in their luxurious exhibits.

The closing hours are firmly fixed - unlike the great feature of Copenhagen Zoo now being open until 21 00 in the evening in the summertime...
