the big lads

the two males together
Not something you see very often, I think - two big males living together. Tiga does look bulkier than Rajang.

Rajang is looking a lot thinner, maybe it is because Tiga is such a big boy but to me he looked a lot thinner and certainly slower. He took a long while to lower himself by rope out of the hatch to the outside and unfortunately a long time to climb up to the wrong hatch to get in as it was locked!
I think it has been a good influence on Tiga having a very chilled Rajang as a companion as hopefully he will become a chilled mate and later on a dad :)
Every time I see Rajang I wonder if it will be the last time but he has done so well I would hate to see him deteriorate and become a target for Tiga and no longer able to hold his own.
He certainly has done so much for promoting his species (even though a hybrid) and certainly a one off :)

It's sad to hear that. I hope when his time comes, later rather than sooner, that he goes with dignity. He's always been charismatic.
