View as you enter the castle zoo (think this was previously a children's play area). Long aviary on right is for harris hawks. The aviary at the back held various finches, quail etc. Aviary cut off on the left held a eurasian jay and lady amherst pheasants. On the ground floor there were various domestic animals-rabbits, guinea pigs, chickens that you could go in with. There were also nocturnal exhibits and small mammels tucked in corners-things like egyptian fruit bats, sugar gliders, rats. Quite a lot to see in here.
