The elephant Taku is having a show. Taku was probably the first elephant in Furuvik Park. She came here in 1936 from Carl Hagenbecks Tierpark. She died 1955. The same year a new elephant arrived, Babar (dead 1967) . A new Taku arrived 1980, but died just 8 years after. Another elephant in Furuvik Park is Hella. She is the only surviving elephant from the elephant epsiod in Furuvik Park. She now live in Budapest Zoo. There was also a elephant named Noi living here from 1967 to 1986.
