They now have 3 rhesus and 1 Bonnets monkey. Ziggy the bonnets shares with 1 female rhesus, and the other 2 rhesus are in the other enclosure. I assume these 2 are the 2 that came from Darling Downs zoo, and the owner said they were the last 2 to be allowed into Victoria. It seems Victoria has some strange new laws regarding exotic animals, including a list of species that are now banned from entering the state. When the owners heard of the new laws coming into place, they jumped into the car and drove 15 hours or so to Darling Downs Zoo to collect the Rhesus monkeys before the ban came into place.
