The Hornbill Section

I don't know, a few years ago, every cage was a single species, but at my visit in summer 2008, they were only three or four species, a few of them were send to the Berlin Animal park, during the renovation of the Hornbill section, so not all of them were on display.

We visited Sept 2007 and they had White Crested; Silvery- Cheeked; and Oriental Pied Hornbills, all in pairs.

During my many visits from 1998 to 2000, the species that i remembered exhibited here were:
wrinkled hornbill
indian great hornbill
white crested hornbills
indian rhinocerous hornbills

and i remember that in a single visit, it was in winter, they had about 8 to 10 species, just can't remember the names, looking at one of my pics it looks like one of the hornbills was:

rufous necked hornbill

but for whatever reason i never spotted him again in any of my many visites after, i truly believe that the entire collection of hornbills might never be displayed at once, don't really know why?
