Still no word on opening date?

I posted the link to November's Commission meeting minutes in the LA Zoo news thread and it mentions that they are going for a March opening. Hopefully there are no more delays and it opens on time.

From the look of things, a March opening seems quite doable.

From the looks of it, all they need to complete outside is to add the fencing for the boardwalks. I don't know what needs to be done inside the buildings, but the March opening does seem doable.

Were you able to get a good look at the outdoor false gharial exhibit? From what I can see it looks pretty small, but hard to tell from far away.

Unfortunately there was no clear view of the False Gharial exhibit from the carousel.
