This area was probably very beautiful years ago with a walkway with benches around the lake, and a beautiful bridge you could use to cross the lake. But during our visit, it felt very decaying and muddy/mossy, and it was almost empty from animals. The bridge and path around the lake were closed off as well.
The animals we saw in the lake:
1 Whooper swan
1 Hybrid goose (Canada X Greylag)
1 Canada goose
3 Bar-headed geese
2 Domestic geese
8 Slider turtles
And some mallards.
The only signed species were the swan and the mallards.
The lake is one of the first things you see when you enter the park (it's right by the entrance) and it did not really give a good first impression. I'm happy that the rest of the park was better.
