I always wonder what they are thinking with these enclosures:
1: So we wan't to keep a secretive species, should we give it any hiding places? Maybe some dense vegetation? At least a tiny bit of privacy?
2: No, it would just hide and we can't have that. Let's just make it look nice to the public and everything will be fine. Besides if we say often enough we care a lot about animal welfare, it can't be that bad right? After all we are having the "highest" standards in Europe, or something like that.
