I don't know what this exhibit, connected to the Eurasian brown and American black bear exhibit with small gates, is for actually, as there was no signage. It however looks like it is meant for some kind of smaller animal (like say a fox) that is meant to live with the bears and have a separate area

I suppose this exhibit was meant as a separation area for the Mackenzie River wolves. The Original plan was to house this species together with the black bears, but after the wolves had given birth, they decided to build a separate enclose for them in the Land of the Cold area and house the black bears with brown bears.
