Taken 4/5/16. This exhibition is NOT in the San Diego Zoo; it is in the San Diego History Center in Balboa Park, near the zoo. The exhibition celebrates the centennial year of the zoo and will be on view until January 1, 2017. The extensive display occupies 3 galleries, as well as some introductory features in the entrance Glass Gallery and Atrium, an interactive gallery for children called Roar! Family Den, and daily screenings of historic Zoorama television broadcasts in the Thornton Theater.

Thanks for uploading numerous photos of the 100-year celebration exhibit for San Diego Zoo. I'd love to visit now as the history of the zoo is fascinating and with constant construction San Diego is consistently improving as the years go by.

I did spend a lot of money to purchase the books and they are terrific. The presentation is phenomenal: physically heavy, wonderful slip cover, colourful box to enclose them, etc. Real treasures! I recently finished reading the Honolulu Zoo book and that is also a must-own.
