The 'Milk Hall' @ Budapest Zoo

This is also a historic building at Budapest which was built in 1912. The originally aim of this building was the popularization of the milk and the healthy consumption. After the World War II its function was changed and it was teared down later. The building was rebuilt again in 2008 thanks to the renovation of the Big Rock and currently this is a small restaurant.

If you're visiting Budapest Zoo take some sandwiches. This is a horrible place to eat, and expensive too.

This building just opened in the recent past. Did You have a meal in the Cave Restaurant which is in the Small Rock?

Sorry my mistake. I have just looked at the map and yes we did go into the Cave restaurant. Dark and dingey with poor quality overpriced food and no view. One of the worst zoo meals I've had and that is saying something as the quality worldwide is not high. I hope the Milk Hall is an improvement.
