Amongst all the talk about the new 43-acre complex and its large herds of animals it has been easy to forget that a shiny new restaurant has been part of the construction. That building looks to be enormous, and I'm sure that it will quickly fill up with many of the 2.5 million projected visitors at Columbus Zoo this year. Is it actually open yet?

Ate lunch here today around 2 pm and surprisingly got a savannah view window seat without any problem.The food was outstanding!African themed and excellent portions and moderately priced.
