The River Exhibit

River Exhibit in the Wilds of Africa area, home only for bird species. With a bigger pool, this would be a very nice hippo exhibit.

Bush

This is actually our Bush habitat home to currently 1.1 Greater Kudu, 0.9 Impala (1.1 currently off exhibit), 2.0 Thompson's Gazelles, 3 Crowned Cranes, 3 Lappett Faced Vultures, 1 Marabou Stork, 2 Southern Ground Hornbills, and off in a separate enclosure are 1.2 Grevy's Zebras.

Do all the species share the same exhibit?

Yup, everyone's in the same space except the Grevy's. There has been talk of adding our Grant's Zebra to the mix in the near future and moving the Grevy's out to another exhibit. There are also 1.1 Impala that may join in but that is yet to be seen (the male impala may be sent to another zoo as he is related to several of the females). Needless to say it is a crowded place which makes it hard to talk about from the monorail - of course what do the animals do, they hide to where noone can see them. Somethings wrong when you can't find 9 impala.

Thats part of the reason, but there is a ridge along the back that the kudu and impala like to hide in in the later parts of the day that make them hard to see. It really is amazing how well the male kudu blends in when he is laying down in the shade. But yes, you only have about a minute to see all of the amimals. Personally I wish they could share the wealth to the other exhibits along the tour.
