What the heck is that range map. They're essentially extirpated from the US and have never occurred regularly in this country outside of southern Florida. Also not noted are the very large populations in the Yucatan Peninsula and the Galapagos.

To be fair there does look to be coloration of some sort on the Yucatan, but yeah, including the whole southeast coast makes no sense. Maybe the graphic designer got confused by all news about the vagrant flamingos?
