Tiger Trek - Signage

July 16th, 2010.
Things I love about this sign:

1 - it can't decide whether to define 'scat' technically ('faeces') or cutely ('poop'), so just throws them both up there

b - it explains that tiger scat means a tiger has been there (shocker!)

iii - all joking aside, it recognises that if you want to get kids interested, nothing works better than something a bit rude!

My question - is this accompanied by some artificial scat on the path? Would seem a nice accompaniment.

If I recall there is a fake poop further down the path, it's just not right under the sign. Might just have to make a trip out there today to investigate!

Ahhhh, thanks for that Drew:)Looks like I missed out on that. Will have to check it out this spring.

Tiger Trek -- Signage

Another good indication that there might be tigers around, is a sign on a fence that says 'Tiger', often with a bit of general information and a map. Sometimes there is also a sign that says 'this animal bites'.

I don't quite get this warning about the 'Tiger scat'. Is it a joke or an attempt to make people feel they are experiencing a wild 'tiger trek'. I guess its the latter but since they are in a zoo its fairly obvious there are tigers nearby!
