Best exhibit for a Wolf group in the Uk I think- by no means the largest but the wolves are very viewable through the glass windows and seem to constute a nicely integrated pack, plus there are several colour phases in the one group.
My guess is, a few steps leading down to some indoor dens maybe? though I don't see how they access them if thats what it is.
It does look very like an Olympic podium I know, but its functional. Colchester have the best viewing(windows) for their wolves anywhere that i've seen lately. Usually you have mesh in the way. Its one of their enclosures I think works well- unlike the Geladas!!!!
