Tiny starfish on lagoon tank window (Sep 16th, 2018)

There were hundreds of these clinging to the viewing window of the first lagoon tank in the Ocean. Not sure why they are there, if anyone knows about that or knows what species they are please let me know.

I don't know the name of this species, but it is a pest species that gets into marine aquariums by transporting water or coral from one tank to the next. If it is in a zoo, it is certainly not intentionally there.
 
@birdsandbats Thank you for the information. I didn't know some starfish can be pests in marine aquariums yet - hadn't seen an outbreak like this before.

Is there something aquariums can do about these? Is there for example a fish that consumes these?
 
The glass of this tank was full of these tiny Asterinas. When I saw them, I wondered why they don't used a smal group of Hymenocera for control them... Probably because the bigger angelfishes and triggerfishes would eat the shrimps, huh.
