Toco Toucan at Santillana del Mar, 13/06/15

Interesting that they have this subspecies, are they definitely pure? And how many do they have?

I can't be sure of the purity - the label and Zootierliste both agree, for what it's worth (though it appears the former is the source for the latter). Don't know if anyone knows any more?

As I recall we only saw one - very friendly - bird.
