This was the one snake in ProMedica that was a no-show for me, which on one hand is a shame, but on the other hand it's impressive how visible so many of the other snakes were!

@Neil chace You saw a tassie and I didn't, so we're even! Now that you mention it, I saw every single species that was signed, not sure I've had a 100% success rate before. Two had signs saying they were off-show - one of the white-lipped island pit vipers and the yellow blotched palm viper (that one hurt).

@TinoPup Yeah, this trip I had overall great success, but a few frustrating no-shows. Flying snakes, white-throated ground doves, and lowland paca at Toledo, echidna and black-footed ferrets at Toronto, and most frustrating of all was the giant salamanders at Detroit, all of which would've been lifers. Oh well, there's always something you don't end of seeing.

@Neil chace Shame you didn't see the doves, they were very easy to spot on my visit. Lowland paca are notorious for liking to hide/sleep under windows, I've only seen one once (at a different zoo) and I really had to twist my neck to get a viewing angle. You can get two of those at Smithsonian!
