Ha! Great idea - bizarre, but great!

How fabulous to be the person selected as 'enrichment'! I'd be devastated to stand there and not get wet!

What a great idea ! ..... think it should be extended to other zoos.

The orangs could squirt anyone over 12 (being generous) who calls them a big monkey, or anyone of any age who bangs on their glass (in that case, the button would have to be connected to an overhead sprinkler) !!

Cameron Park Zoo in Waco has the same thing in their new Orang exhibit.

So how efective is this as a enrichment tool?

Do the orangs spend much time planing or waiting to wet the public?

Who has seen this in action?

Yeah, I´d like know about this too!

It reminds me a little of the chimp in the Swedish zoo who collected stones, stashed them neatly in piles all over the enclosure so that he could throw them at the visitors.
