Top of Ocean Voyager

@Great Argus This was not on a bts tour. There was something called the "Aquanaut Adventure Discovery Zone" one of the features of this area was a window that gave you a view of the top of Ocean Voyager. There were also some other small exhibits in this area for insects, amphibians, fish, and corals. This was on the second floor past River Scout.

Here's an old photo with a similar view:

@Great Argus
I can't find anything on their site that says you can't do this, including their BTS section. I took the BTS tour last year, you're taken into a small corner just about where this photo frames, and the guide said we were in fact allowed to take photos and footage and distrubute it however we pleased. Just as long as we stayed within the boundaires. It also included the top of Tropical Diver, others, along with myself managed to gets shots of the dump tank, their coral reef reproduction tank, and the inside of a whale shark's mouth as it was feeding along the edge. However, I was NOT allowed to take photos at the top of SHARKS.

I have double checked and you are correct - apparently Georgia does not mind bts photos. They do however forbid taking cameras into the water for aquatic programs as well as to not take photos of their dolphin and sea lion programs.
@Bisonblake maybe next time add some extra context if you post a bts pic to clarify?

@Moebelle It's still helpful to know as many people here (including myself) have not been to Georgia Aquarium. You wouldn't just show an apparent bts area on Zoo Tours and give no context would you?
And yes I'm well aware there's plenty of photos lacking such context, but it's helpful to know and doesn't take hardly any time to add.

@Moebelle last I checked, "Was this taken on a bts tour?" *is* asking and not accusing ;)

Considering we just had a huge incident like this recently, I see no issue with Argus double checking so that something like that doesn't happen again.

@IndianRhino "According to their site this isn't allowed." Is an accusation pulled from nothing. It would appear 'double checking' wasn't applied to research.

@Moebelle He was just saying a fact (which he later realized was incorrect), he didn't say accuse Bisonblake of anything. He didn't say, "You're breaking a rule!", now did he? I also find it funny and interesting that you immediately deleted your initial comment after I replied to it... :p
