Is Denver the only zoo in North America that has brachiating gibbons going above the heads of visitors? The three small islands with overhanging ropes is a fantastic concept, but I wonder what will occur in the winter as at the moment the gibbon house does not have any viewing windows. I suppose that the gibbons will not be able to be seen on extremely cold days.
Nope, Disney's Animal Kingdom features the same possibility. The siamangs have access to a the top of a large post in the visitor area that is connected to the climbing structure in their habitat by cables. I've even seen them use it.
