Trail of the Elephants - Fijian crested Iguana (Brachylophus vitiensis) - December 2018

This Fijian Crested Iguana, along with Star Tortoise, Boyd's Forest Dragon and several species of stick insects were in a small indoor building opposite the binturong enclosure if I remember correctly.

@WhistlingKite24 The former binturong enclosure. Gansga died in mid 2019 and was replaced by a Squirrel Monkey, a species the zoo already had in multiple locations.

Golden Coin (Chinese Three Striped Box) Turtles have been added to that enclosure and I think elongate tortoises.

Juvenile Fijian crested iguanas are cute :)

@Yoshistar888 Looking back at my other photos, Golden Coin Turtle and Elongated Tortoise were both signed but I just didn't see them. Yeah, it's a shame Melbourne hasn't reacquired Binturong. Luckily, Queensland has five Binturongs across three zoos (three of them were bred at Melbourne Zoo). :D
