Taken 5/4/21. This aquarium in Saint Louis, Missouri is housed in two modern structures beneath the historic train shed of Union Station, which no longer serves rail. It contains 26 permanent exhibits set along a one-way exhibit path. The largest exhibit is Shark Canyon at 250,000 gallons.
I haven't had the chance to see or judge this aquarium for myself yet, but I'm sure of one thing: that is the coolest cichlid exhibit I've ever seen. It's great that the aquarium incorporated their re-use of a historic train station into the design.
