Trilobite Larva - Crocker Range

It's a pity you didn't get to see the Mt. Kinabalu species, which looks like this:

That is very cool looking. It's like someone took the one I saw and used a highlighter around the edges.

The other thing that I wish I'd seen at Kinabalu are the snakes. I didn't see any at all but I know they were there as I spoke to a herpetologist who had seen dozens, including vipers and kraits, in about the same length of time as I was there.
 
The ones i saw in Peninsular Thailand also had orange fringes similar to the Mt. Kinabalu species, just not quite as vibrant.
 
The following one I photographed on Penang, and may likely be the same species as the one Swampy saw in peninsular Thailand:
