I'm probably the last to realise, but I watched Emma making herself comfortable at the window and saw how she threaded the end of webbing strap through the mesh barrier beside the window and pulled it tight. Then she carefully held the end flat against the tight end of the strap with both her feet, so she could sit comfortably on the double thickness strap, holding the wire with her right hand and baby Tripa with her left.
