The opening exhibit in the Hagenbeck Tropen Aquarium. In here lives ring-tailed lemurs and rainbow lorikeets. A nice concept idea of a Madagascan village, but poorly designed.

There's not much of anything natural for the lemurs in that exhibit, and the zoo might as well have tossed them into a cage with tiles and bricks. Hamburg needs to build an outdoor lemur island...
The weird thing is that they actually had a decent outdoor netted exhibit for them at least until 2005. It was nothing special but lush and decent-sized. But then they built the new Tropen Aquarium on the site instead.
