This tour group is back in Atlanta for yet another excursion through one of the world's grandest aquariums! We'll be taking a look at the Georgia Aquarium's Tropical Driver gallery - designed as a relaxing conclusion to what's sure to be a thrilling visit. Tropical Diver showcases many of the world's different coral reefs: fringing, barrier and even artificial - reefs that you can explore for yourself out in the wild. While it is one of Georgia's lesser known galleries, I promise it's still full of surprises. There's an Eel infested sunken submarine, a tank framed with molten lava, and a towering 164,000 gallon reef full of living coral. This episode will show there's much more to the Georgia Aquarium beyond their whale sharks, it'll prove their conservation work is equal in importance to its role as an attraction, and this will mark the first time we've ever gone behind the scenes.
