Tropical House - Common Genet Exhibit

July 16th, 2018.
Am I correct in seeing there is a door to allow the genet behind the scenes? Or does it just look that way? Horrible job of fencing I might add...

@Great Argus The only species in the 'Tropical House' that have access to outdoor enclosures are the Ring-tailed Lemurs and American Alligators. The rest of the animals have no option but the exhibits that they are in and so I'm not sure what is up with the door in the Common Genet exhibit. Maybe another area to allow keeper access? Perhaps there are plans to add an outdoor exhibit?

Hmm, interesting. I did note a door on the back wall of the skunks as well as the macaque, wondering if that's keeper access. Doesn't look like the front panels open, and no other door is visible...
