When I visited a few years ago this was great. If my memory is right, is there is a species of deer in here?
 
Javan Mousedeer (Tragulus javanicus) is found in here - as is the only Hoffman's Sloth in the UK.

I agree, it's a nice addition to a great small zoo. I really need to get back as it has to 3 or 4 years since my last visit! :eek:
And I think Daves highlight was seeing a kinkajou, probably one of Newquay's less rare small carnivores! ;)
 
You'd be wrong actually; as long overdue as seeing my first kinkajou was, seeing my first fossa, narrow-striped boky and owston's civet overshadowed it for sure ;)

Fair enough, I realise my mistake now. Newquay has its fair share of unusual carnivores that aren't that common for someone as far North as you! ;)
The kinkajou was definitely one of your personal highlights though! How many missed oppurtunities did you have previously...? ;)
