If you love exhibit design go now further than Woodland Park and the Bronx. Those two zoos have won more AZA (American Zoo & Association) exhibit awards than any other zoos in North America. Some people discount the merit of such awards, but between those two zoos I think there are 13 award-winning exhibits in total. The main problem for Europeans is that those two zoos are as far apart as possible, with one being on each coast.
