Tropics Building - White-Cheeked Gibbon/Small-Clawed Otter Exhibit

July 18th, 2010.
This exhibit is innovative in that the gibbons can travel over the heads of visitors and can still be seen via glass windows, while the otters can swim beneath the feet of visitors and still be seen via large glass panes. On my visit the otters swam back and forth a number of times, and one of the gibbons rested directly on top of the visitor walkway. There are enclosures on either side of the path.

I'm fairly certain that there were 3 otters.
