This is the smaller of Hamilton Zoo’s two capuchin exhibits. It’s connected to the larger exhibit via a raceway. Hamilton Zoo’s troop was founded by an import from Auckland Zoo in the 1990’s. In July 2008, the females were sent to Brooklands Zoo in exchange for their six unrelated females. Several infants have been born since.
