Lol I'd be more worried about the monkeys unlocking it themselves.

Are you sure there wasn't anyone cleanin' in the back and you just didnt see them ?

No there was no one in the enclosure or house-the lock had def been (mistakenly) left open

well one of the keepers would have noticed sometime soon after that. even if they dont theyve got another lock on the actual monkey's door so they wouldnt have been able to get out anyway.

not a another door with a padlock though, do you realise how intelegent these primates are? Im sure this was just a mistake but they have far to many animals to care for-hence mistakes are made. Some of the animal houses were filthy with piles of rotting food and poo. It is evident that cleaning does not occur daily.

I know a horse that can open that kind of locks easily so a capuchin would have no problem. You really need a padlock on those sorts of locks.

I`m sorry but saying that one of the keepers would notice at some point in the day is not good enough,I will ask you a question now would you say that as casually if it was the Leopards enclosure that the padlock was not on,some how I don`t think so but Capuchins can still be a very dangerous animal,I know a few people with the scars to prove it!

This is just blatently dangerous and an excellent example of how not to run a zoo. This simply cannot be accepted!
