@PossumRoach It is really hard to tell as the angle of view is entirely limited to the one spot across the moat from between the lemur and siamang habitats. But, I don't think so, I think this is just on the public side of the enclosure, at least so far. You can see the old termite mound and platform are still visible, so I am not sure if anything has been done to the actual habitat side yet.
That said, my view is that they are going forward with bonobo. I don't see any other reason for a plexi-glass enclosure for anything smaller, and the bonobos were already planned. For all I know they could have actually arrived at the zoo way back when and they are off exhibit this entire time.
