Colchester definately gets the award for garishness. I wonder why it is like that. Is it 'Essex'? A lot of the exhibits(but not the Orangutans! or Geladas ) are actually quite effective IMO, despite all that fake rock in many of them.
Let's have lots and lots more zoo!
But, Geladas on an extensive grassy meadow would be better than what's on offer here.
A simple electric fenced field with appropriate shelter would be nice for mixed Geladas & Blue-winged Geese, perhaps with Abyssininan Yellowbills if the geese would tolerate them.
