Ural owl

This is Ural owl I think (I´ve never seen Japanese subspecies of this but I think i´m correct).

Wow, what a lucky sighting! I didn’t think that Ural Owl could be seen in city parks! When was the photo taken?

@Dr. Wolverine About three weeks ago - it was in a wooded area within Inokashira zoo and was receiving a lot of attention from some photographers with some pretty serious looking equipment. I wondered whether it was attracted to the pair of Ural owls in the collection who actually seemed a little stirred up by its presence.
